Country Singer Carrie Underwood To Be Inducted Into Grande Ole Opry

Carrie Underwood may have started as a contestant on "American Idol," but thanks to her powerhouse voice and popularity in the country music world she has been tapped to be a member of the Grande Ole Opry. Underwood will become the newest member of the Opry, having been invited on Saturday by country artist Randy Travis. The Opry, established in 1925, is the longest continuously running radio show in the country.
